Thanks everyone for coming to my dad’s funeral. It was a lovely send off. Amazing to see so many old family friends and familiar faces. Thanks too for the Bethany staff who made it so special. Thanks also for the loving wonderful staff at Gwen Hardie Lodge who cared for my dad so joyfully and tenderly these last 9 years. Have a wonderful time sailing dad. We’re always with you. With love. Your son Martin…

    I couldn’t have had a better father.
A great role model. A great bloke.
No need to suffer any longer Dad

The Strong memories we both have of Arne are when Phoebe was young.
He was a gentle and very caring grandfather and he was a man who was in tune with nature and enjoyed working in it and with it.
He created some lovely pieces, like a dried banksia seed which he mounted on a beautiful piece of wood for Judy, which she still enjoys, as do I.

I worked with Arne at CIG and CIGWELD as a Sales Rep for many years, a great guy, I will never forget the fun we had at various Newdegate field days in the years gone by.
May he now rest in eternal peace.
