  2. I will always remember our family gatherings around the big table on the farm at Arunga (previously Springfield). He had so many great tales to tell from his times working at Springfield and other places, and he would have us all in stitches spurred on by his infectious laugh and sense of humour. Great times and great memories...
Much love to Jane and all the family.

  3. Dear Graham. He came over from the Eastern States to work with my father who had a cattle stud called Springfield and he proved to be a really good cattleman. He worked with the stud bulls where he groomed them and got them ready for the Perth Royal Shows where he would travel with them and sleep in the hay sheds where they kept all the equipment for the bulls in preparation for showing. In time he got married to Val and bought his own property just up the road from Springfield, so we would all get together very regularly. He was always such good company and we had lots of laughs. I recently found a colour slide of him from the 1960's and he was a very good looking man! We spent many Christmas's together around the table laughing, joking, drinking, and eating merrily. Over the years we have kept on touch and last year he came to our son Nicks birthday and he was able to catch up with all the neighbours he used to know. Fond memories of a lovely man.
Love to Jane, Vaughan, Sara and Ryan.

  4. The day has come that I have been dreading, you were my best friend, a mate to talk to whenever I needed advise or just to have a chat, someone who was always there for me to lend a hand, to have a laugh, a beer, a BBQ and to go fishing with, you were 40-years older than me but we were on the same level and we had some great times together that I wished would never end. I am going to miss just dropping in after work or picking up the phone to catch up on the daily news, I will miss your jokes and yarns and that awesome laugh, there will be a big void in my life now that your gone and it wont be the same without you. I will remember all the things you taught me and I will never forget you, so long my friend, till we meet again, My best Mate forever Graham McCaughey. You will not be forgotten.
From your biggest Fan your Son in law
