Mum, we are alike in so many ways except one the love of public speaking. This is a tribute to you mum just from me and it doesn’t matter that no one hears it or reads it. Geoff and Nola talked about our happy childhood and that’s absolutely correct from my perspective I knew I was loved and what better upbringing can a child have. When I suggested that you move to Perth in 2009 I researched tirelessly to find the best home that I could to make the transition as painless as it could be although I know how hard it was for you but you put on a brave face and never complained once. In the early days it was lovely to bring you home to Bickley at the weekends and you could have a play on the piano and see Bindi, sometimes we’d just walk around the lake at Lakeside and just talk and then summers evenings when you were still able we had fish and chips by the swan river. I treasure the 11 years I had you in Perth nice moments and some not so nice moments but it was an honour to look after you mum the way you always looked after me. I will love you always mum, Denise xxxx

Loving thoughts are with you all.
Many happy memories of a lovely lady. Goes back to when Dulcie and Frank moved to Narrikup a long time ago.
    Best wishes Joan
